VICE PRESIDENT ICSD VISITS NIGERIA, SEEK COLLABORATION TO DEVELOP DEAF SPORTS

Nigeria is a great ranking, sporting Nation amongst comity of sport Nations in the globe.
The board of trustees/Directors, Country Directors and Members of West Africa Deaf Sports Union WADSU and Nigeria Deaf Sports Federation NDSF.

Jointly play host to the Vice President, International Committee of Sports for the Deaf, ICSD Mr. Yutaka Osugi, who is in Nigeria to meet and discuss the way forward with regards to how the Deaf Sports can be further development and giving more recognition and the planned hosting of Deaf Sports tournament in the country.

Alh. Dagbo Suleiman Saka, President Nigeria Deaf Sports Federation (NDSF), Regional president West Africa Deaf Sports Union (WADSU) Mr. Amuda Yusuf Ibrahim and the entire Deaf Sports family in the continent heartily welcome Mr. Yutaka Osugi to Nigeria, his visit aim to unite and bring development to deaf sports in the continent.

The globe Deaf Sports leader, in his remarks, said he has leart that Nigeria is a strong sporting Nation and he is here to understudy and learn how ICSD can partner and work with African countries to bring about development through organizing Sports and competitions.

The President, Nigeria Deaf Sports Federation attributed progress made by the Federation to the ministry of sports development and the present Minister Sen. John owan Eno for his great interest and concern in the development of Deaf Sports and all other sports in the country with the assistance of the permanent Secretary Mrs. Tinuke Watti
Mr Osugi will be in the country for three days and he is expected to also meet with the Minister of sport development on Monday and a dinner will be organize in his honor before departing the country.
