2023 Presidentia and National Assemblies Elections: Former Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly and Member, Board of Trustees, PDP, Rt. Hon Mrs Margrate Icheen declared low turn out, says cashless policy is the major cause. Denies rumour of attack.


He spoke with Journalists shortly after dropping her vote at her polling unit at Koti Apera, in Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State.

She said she was surprised seeing only 200 voters out of about 600 hundred registered voters who has registered at the polling unit saying, the cashless policy is the cause.

The Former speaker who denied the speculation of some youths attacking her, said there were some youths who came to foment trouble and she quick called the attention of the security who put the situation under control.
