BENUE ASSEMBLY STRUCTURES TO BE ADAPTED TO CURRENT STANDARD - ENGR ASHIEKAA


Benue State Assembly's main buildings is currently adapting to match the current architectural standard of construction and design. 

The contractor handling the project, Engr. Peter Lanshima Ashiekaa has disclosed this why speaking with journalists at the site.

He said, he was asked by the Government of Benue State to adapt the structures to match the current standard and make it more suitable to accommodate the State Assembly.
Engr Ashiekaa said that, the adaptation became necessary for the fact that, the building was constructed in 1991 and since then, there has been very minimal renovation and there is every need for such adaptation to make it more functional for the State Assembly. 

Engr Ashiekaa who said that, he was given twenty five days to complete the project said, they have so far spent about 14 day out of the days saying, the work that has to be done for the proper functionality of the the building including the Assembly champer is demanding additional one week to the twenty five days given to them, due to the level of work that has to be carried on in the buildings.
According to him, they are also to be handled the furniture and decoration of all the offices in the buildings.
