DAN DUWE APPRECIATES GOV. KEFAS, PRAY FOR LSGGA GROUP

Vote of Thanks by Chief Dr. Dan Duwe, Chairman Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission after receiving award of Excellent Performance from Likeminds Support for Good Governance in Africa (LSGGA).


The Conduct of the recent Local Government Poll in Taraba State Show that the State is serious about all that they are doing, out of 774 Councils in the country only 313 has Democratically elected Government, which Taraba State is a leading Example, Just within six months of the live of the administration of His Excellency Gov. Agbu Kafes he was able to Conduct free, fair, transparent and creditable LG Poll Through the independent body Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission Chaired by Chief Dr. Dan Philip Duwe.

Dr. Duwe. is a man of high Integrity, having served in many capacity one time permanent secretary, two times commissioner in the State, no wonder His Excellency Gov. Agbu Kafes appointed him to oversee this very important body TSIEC.

LSGGA an independent monitor of Election judged the Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission as meeting the best international standard of conducting Polls with the following criterias; Collection of results and announcement was decentralised, this is international standard everywhere in the world and also business and others activities goes alongside elections, no stopping of livelihood of Citizens this again is commendable. all this make the Chairman and by extension the commission to be recognized by LSGGA.
