Hon. Angye Josiah Yaro, Chairman House Committee on Education, Member Wukari II Constituency, Taraba State House of Assembly was honored by Likeminds Support for Good Governance in Africa with Nelson Mandela Leadership Award due to his contribution to nation building and how peaceful he conducted himself and his supporters during the period of electionarial campaign.

Speaking during the award presentation ceremony the Country Director Comrade Odey R. Emekah noted that the award is to encourage hon. Angye Josiah Yaro to do more in terms of sustaining the peace been enjoyed in his Constituency and charged him to bring dividends of democracy to his people.

in his acceptance speech Hon Angye was full of praise for the LSGGA while expressing his excitement, he said that he. was suppress the people are watching and following his activities people he has never meant or even spoken with before now, this he said has renew his courage to continue doing the good work, he added that he will never forget his home Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai while thanking his Excellency Gov. Agbu Kefas and dedicating the award to his students and the entire Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai for their support.

The event was hosted by Dr. Ayuba Ibrahim the Rector, Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai, who shower encomium on the awardee who is one of their own before joining Politics hon. Angye Josiah Yaro, he thank him for remembering his constituency the Polytechnic and pray that more good things come his way while asking him to go on with his good work and continue to be ambassador of the institution
Also in attendance were top management staff of the Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai.
