DSP DAYA BAGS 2023 KOFI ANNAN LEADERSHIP AWARD ON PEACE AND SECURITY.

The Divisional Police Officer, Wukari Division, under the Taraba State Police Command, DSP Daya Timothy Kefas was recognized by
Likeminds Support for Good Governance in Africa in conjunction with the Pan-Africa Integrity Initiative Centre Abuja. For his Contribution to ensuring Peace and Security in the area and his exceptional leadership style in leading officers and men of the division, Worthy to mention is how under his watch the division managed the distribution of electorial materials for the conduct of the recently Local govt election in the State particularly in Wukari, were some party thugs try to disorganized the activity.

Speaking at the office of the DPO in the Present of the Officers and men of the Division, the Northern Coordinator, Comr. John Tondo Praise the synergy that exists between the officers and men of the division as well as the coordination of the division, to combatting crimes and securing the lives and properties of the people and the area.

The Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) of the division in the area, Dsp George Zibemi, thank LGSSA for the honor, he said that it's a well deserved one and it is a motivation for them to put in their best inorder that, they too can be recognized in future.

In accepting the award, Dsp. Daya said he cherished the honor especially as it is associated with iconic Kofi Annan who he described as 'humble and respected African state man' who led the world with humility. He dedicated the award to the Nigerian Police force that offers him the platform to perform and been evaluated by LSGGA, especially the IGP, the State commissioner of Police and officers and men of the Wukari division while praying for the progress of LSGGA in all their endeavors as the focus on the ordinary people.
