FALLOUT OF TARABA LG POLL: OPPOSITION CALL IT VERBAL ELECTION, ADVOCATE FOR INEC TO REPLACE SIEC

The 18th November, LG Poll in Taraba State has been criticize by the opposition Party in the State, describing it as "Verbal Election".

You will recalled that the Major opposition Political Party in the State, the All Progressive Congress APC boycotted the election mostly in the southern Part of the state, citing reasons such as absent of electoral materials needed for a conduct of such exercise.

It was reported in some section of the media were the Leader of the APC in southern Taraba Rt. Hon. Danjuma Shiddi ( Danji SS) addressed the media announcing the party and it's candidates withdrawal from the contest, He accused the Followers of the Governor for high jacking the process and undermining the law that governed a conduct of free, fair and creditable election, as there were absent of results sheet and others irregularities.

Hon. Amaza Isa Ajifada, Councilorship Aspirant of All Progressive Congress (APC)

Amaza Isa Ajifada, an aspirant for the position of councillorship in the 18th November, Local Government election under the platform of the APC described the election as a mere verbal Election, he said the ruling party the People's Democratic Party, PDP were afraid of them because of the large followership based in Wukari, demonstrated by mammoth crowd during their campaign this lead to writing of elections results.

Representative  of the APC party Chairmain in Wukari LGA, Hon. Isa Ali AKata who is also the ward Chairman, Hospital ward confirm the situation, said that there were no election results sheet in all the materials that TSIEC distributed, meaning results of the election was already been determined before the conduct of the election. He advocate for strong Democratic foundation laid from the grassroot while calling for the the National electorial body INEC to take over the conduct of Local Government Elections in the country.

Isa Ali Akata, Chairman APC Hospital Ward Wukari LGA

The ward Chairman, Hospital ward Wukari advise disloyal members to stop playing anti-politics and come together to build one big APC Family, Just like what Hon Usman Danjuma Shiddi, DSS is doing for the party in the state, inorder to defeat and put to an end the evils of the PDP over the years in the State.
