Likeminds Support for Good Governance in Africa (LSGGA) in conjunction with Pan-African Integrity Initiative Center (PAIIC) honored Dr. Barkindo Muhammad Saidu, DG Borno- SEMA, with 2023 SIR AHMADU BELLO Leadership Award and the Secretary Alh. Muhammed Lawan Sheriff with 2023 KOFI ANNAN Certificate of Commendation the award wish was meritelbel by the two leaders, looking at their Immense contributions to humanitarian service, accountability, transparency and adding values to the socio economic development of the state and beyond. Borno -SEMA has achieve alot from the leadership quality of the Director General and the Secretary. Borno-SEMA has face the challenge of taking care of the less privilege's one's and elderly persons for years now as you all know about the insecurity challenge of the State and it has been all along challenges which the Borno-SEMA through the continues support of the State Government under the current Leadership of His Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, who has taken the challenge of the people of Borno State at heart and he is always ready to support and end the challenges facing the people.
Secretary of Borno-SEMA who were also representing the DG, in his appreciation speech thank LSGGA and he went ahead to say that the award is dedicated to His Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum the Governor of Borno State and to all the people who in anyway have been supporting to end the challenges facing Borno State Communities, he accept the award in good faith and he said on behalf of the Director General of Borno-SEMA Dr. Barkindo, the look forward to partner with LSGGA for the betterment of their people and our Nation Nigeria at large. Comr. John M. Tondo Northern Co-ordinator LSGGA/PAIIC appreciate the DG, Dr. Barkindo and Secretary of Borno-SEMA Alh. Mohammed Lawan Sheriff for their acceptance of the award and said it's a challenge to them to do more in their areas of duties for the betterment of the people and it will become an encouragement to others who are also work around them and many more person's outside there, Comr. John M. Tondo call for their partnership with LSGGA/PAIIC so, they can work together to bring in more initiatives that we inculcate our youth and elderly persons in different areas of skills developmental training and assist them with little funds to open Small and Medium Enterprises SMEs and Household Support to end the challenges of our youth coming up with crimis ideas, instead of better things at their hands to do and leave in peace with one another, Comr. Tondo called on International and Local communities, other agencies to support Borno-SEMA to achievd by ending the challenges of Borno people and the Nation at large.
