In attendance was His Excellency Babagana Zulum the Governor of Borno State, who stand in as a father gave out the Daughter of Mohammed Lawan Sheriff. The Governor pray for his children and wish them a successful marriage life, advice them to always be patient with one another. Alh. Mohammed Lawan Sheriff thank His Excellency the Governor of Borno State for being a father to all, appreciated everyone who find out time to grace the occasion and even those who sent him text message praying for his children, he expresse joy over the wedding ceremony of his children and advice them to leave like him their father, learn to be humble, patient in life and accommodate everyone not minding were the person's comes from, he said, the family of Sheriff have leave humble, accommodating and understanding life which has been part of their blessings, so, they should always remember were the come from is a humble family with respect to one another. He said if the children's leave like him they will not find any challenge along their marriage by the grace of Allah who has made this day possible for everyone to be here, to celebrate with them and the family.

Alhaji Umar Lawan Dalorima, who also attended the wedding fatiha of Alh. Mohammed Lawan Sheriff children, at the ceremony pray for peace, joy, unity, togetherness among the couple's with their heart desires and he advice them to always pray for each other and keep to them selves any challenge and be patient with one another.

The newly wedded couple's in town are: Abdulrahman Ibrahim, Lawan Yusuf Mohammed Sheriff, Abba Ibrahim Lawan, Amina Mohammed Sheriff and Nafisa Mohammed Abisso.
