Alhaji Abdulmuminu Yakubu Maishanu is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of A.Y.M Shafa Limited. As a shrewd businessman with an aptitude for entrepreneurship. he conceived A.Y.M Shafa Limited and guided it to a prominent position in the Nigerian economy.

AYM Shafa Limited, one of the key participants in the Nigerian oil and gas sector, has established measures to continue its operations.

The firm maintained its services via professional operations, ingrained culture, and visionary leadership,

“AYM Shafa Limited, which has outlets across the country and a petroleum depot, has recently implemented Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes in some parts of the country, including Delta State, where its petroleum depot is located,” he added.

About AYM Shafa Oil Filling Station.

In 1998, the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) granted AYM Shafa a licence to participate in the selling of petroleum and associated goods.

Shafa Limited, a diversified company, offers a variety of services in the oil and gas industry, including logistics, energy support, project management, petroleum products marketing, transportation & haulage, petroleum imports, truck sales, and bureau de change services.

AYM is involved in several further industries. One of these industries is the importing and repair of automobiles. AYM Shafa is engaged in the importing of automobiles and spare parts from all over the globe. It has a fantastic reputation for importing high-quality trucks, automobiles, and spare parts.

For repairs and maintenance of trucks and haulage vehicles, the company’s car and spare parts operations are equipped with a highly advanced workshop, experienced managers, and certified experts.

Recognizing that energy drives the economy and illuminates society, AYM Shafa views it as a prerequisite for socioeconomic growth. As a petroleum marketing and distribution corporation, it has a stake in the national plan for progress.

By doing so, it acknowledges the necessity to maintain the supply of the essential resources upon which the various categories of participants in the nation’s economic space rely in order to accelerate the desired development.

AYM Shafa takes pride in the effectiveness of its logistical operations and transport services. With more than 800 vehicles stationed in various regions of the nation, the firm carries products and supplies to consumers quickly and effectively.

In an effort to diversify and extend its business activities, it has decided to enter the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) market by constructing a gas plant with a capacity of 11,000 cubic metres.

This investment target aligns with the Federal Government’s desire to promote LPG as the primary cooking fuel in Nigeria. In 2017, the firm began investing in the LPG sector.
The firm is also involved in petroleum depot operations through its Warri Depot Terminal, which began operations in July 2017 with 50 employees and was approved by the DPR in January 2018 to store and distribute white petroleum products.

The Depot facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and accepts petroleum products from ocean-going boats through the recently built cargo jetty of the firm.

Product storage terminals from AYM Shafa are offered for rental and are safe and secure. AYM Shafa was able to extend its retail station locations in response to client demand, as well as its distribution network to other regions of the nation, with an increased number of trucks, despite difficulties in the business climate. This encourages it to cultivate cordial connections with other partners.

AYM Shafa International Direct Sales Direct Purchase was given a contract by BP Oil and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for the lifting of crude in exchange for the delivery of refined petroleum products.

In addition, AYM Shafa was recently elevated to one of Nigeria’s major oil marketers. The firms in this category are regarded as the nation’s premier marketers. Through fleet growth, the company’s development strategy is altering the selling of petroleum and associated goods in Nigeria.

AYM Shafa has been a significant importer of American-made vehicles and replacement parts. In 2014, 2015, and 2016, the American Chamber of Commerce via the Nigerian Embassy recognised it as a significant importer of Trucks and spare parts through Networking with USA (NUSA).

In addition, on May 31, 2021, AYM Shafa Limited won a Marginal Oil Field licence at the recently ended 2020 Marginal Field Bid round, conducted by the Federal Government of Nigeria via the Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR.

This is part of the company’s aim to diversify and establish a comprehensive petroleum industry value chain in the downstream, midstream, and upstream sectors.

Mr. Yakubu Maishanu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer through the firm/ company contributed N100 million to assist the government of Nigeria during the battle against the COVID-19 epidemic and its effects on the people and economy of the nation.

This was done in conjunction with the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and other oil and gas sector stakeholders. Additionally, the company contributed around N20 million worth of medical equipment to assist the Bauchi State government in its battle against Covid-19

AYM Shafa is without a doubt one of the key actors in the Nigerian oil and gas business, as it created measures to continue operations despite the COVID-19 epidemic.
