Hon. Ahmadu Usman Jaha, Said, Chibok State constituency will enjoy dividends of democracy through the representative of Hon. Pogu Lawan.

Hon. Ahmadu Usman Jaha, member representating Chibok, Damboa, Gwoza Federal constituency, comment on the quality of APC candidate Hon. Pogu Lawan, he say Lawan is a very experience politician that understand the people very were and with the support of some of His Excellency Babagana Zulum, Governor of Borno State, he believes he will reach out to the people in the key areas that are major challenges of the people of Chibok State Constituency, he said APC as a party, they ready to work development everywhere in the State and he believes Hon Pogu Lawan who has bing in Government will always work hard to reach out to the needs of the people, he call on the people of Chibok to support them so, that many things challenges people will come to pass as time goes, he also said, the are all one in Chibok just like one family and anyone who is declared the winner of the election  by INEC, let the people support the person to bring in more development to the communities.​

He said, he was a two term member of Borno State House of Assembly so, he understand how important it's representative your people in the state house and he believes Hon. Pogu Lawan will live to the expectations of the good people of Chibok constituency and he will bring in so many projects that will change the challenges of the people through the support of many of them, specially himself as a representative of Chibok, Damboa, Gowza Federal constituency and His Excellency Babagana Zulum Governor of Borno State who has contributed so much to peace and development of Borno State, he knows that the Governor will continue to do more in supporting Hon. Pogu Lawan to developer Chibok constituency.

The bye-election winner was later declared at collection center in Chibok central primary school. Prof. Baba Shehu Waziri, returning officer of INEC in charge of Chibok constituency bye-election declared Hon. Pogu Lawan of APC winner of the election with 9,101 vote, why Hon. Habila Bello of PDP got 2,117. 

In the collection center was party agents and other stakeholders that was accredited by INEC for election monitoring. Alongside APC State Chairman Hon. Bello Ayuba was Hon. Barr. Mustapha Loskuri, APC State secretary and Hon. Umar Ibrahim outgoing Chibok LGA chairman. Security agencies and journalists.
