The bye-election winner was declared at collection center in Chibok central primary school. Prof. Baba Shehu Waziri, returning officer who declared Hon. Pogu Lawan of APC winner of the election with 9,101 vote, why Hon. Habila Bello of PDP got 2,117. In the collection center was party agents and other stakeholders that was accredited by INEC for election monitoring. Alongside APC State Chairman Hon. Bello Ayuba was Hon. Barr. Mustapha Loskuri, APC State secretary and Hon. Umar Ibrahim outgoing Chibok LGA chairman. Security agencies and journalists.
