He said " well, it's not funny but rather unfortunate that we have adults who have children, some of them Grant children will decide to be playing around with the intelligence of the entire people, not only of Chibok or Borno State but the entire Country, is a shame you look at people, who are age mates of your Father shaming themselves on the field trying to grab some crumbs on the table because they want to be an pandant of Power, everyone around here including themselves, terrible set of leaders that have flock into chibok just for the purpose of this election, it's a shame".
The debased nature of the election is everything short of democracy. And we shouldn't encourage not support such in our leadership selection processes. The practice of imposition is what keeps away voof and credible people from participating in elections, leaving the field for the worse of us always.
ReplyDeleteIn states like Borno, where recovery is the critical business of the day, state executives should work toward inspiring trust and buying confidence of the people not strangulating opposition that have even been suportive with less criticism of Governor Zullum's leadership style
ReplyDeleteBorno is not operating one man government. A state where no one talks to the governor or advises him on the best way possible. A pounded yams policy kind of governance
ReplyDeleteCompetence is a threat to Gov Zullum in Borno. He prefer to deal with sem iliterates and poor people who when imposed, they feel like it's a big favour to remain blindly loyal to the gov and not to their people. Since the governor hand picked and imposed almost all chairmen, hours e of assembly members and all reps and senators and gave them tickets without primaries
