The Chairman Hon. John Ali and his Vice had received award from a continental Non governmental organization, Likeminds Support For Good Governance in Africa LSGGA for his efforts in restoring Peace and Security in the Local Government.

Presenting the award in the Local Government headquarters Secretariat in Takum, the coordinator north of LSGGA, Comr. John Tondo applaud the the Council Boss and his deputy in making sure that the People go about doing their businesses.

The Chairman thank the organization while dedicating the award to the People of Takum and His Excellency Dr. Agbu kefas the Executive Governor of Taraba State for all his support and making them achieving this goal.

Hon. Mrs. Glory Sabo

The Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Glory Sabo was full of thanks for the Organization, she was shocked that the little they are doing is been recognized by some people some where and restated their commitment to greater work for the betterment of the Council.

Hon. James Ugo

The Leader of Council Hon. James Ugo in his his vote of thanks appreciated the Organization and thank his Excellency Dr. Agbu kefas for providing the enable environment for Peace to strive in the State and in Takum LGA. He affirm the Fatherly figure of his Excellency and his sincere concerns for the people of Takum.

The Chairman and his Vice bags Nelson Mandela and Ladi kwali platinum Excellent Award respectively.
