Recently Dr. Babangida Hassan (FCNA, PhD), the permanent Secretary, bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, office of the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Taraba State bags the prestigious Sir, Ahmadu Bello Excellent leadership award.
The confinement of the honor took place at the State Secretariat complex, Jalingo the State Capital.
Dr. Babangida said the award came to him as a surprise, he said while away from the office attending an official assignment in Abuja the bureau acting secretary called and notify him of receiving nomination letter from the prestigious organization Likeminds Support for Good Governance in Africa (LSGGA) for an award, he tried checking out for them in their Abuja office and was told they were already somewhere in Taraba State for another assignment.
The Permanent Secretary, after receiving the award described the moment as a fantastic one, because of the urgency attached to the award.
Babangida said he work under administration that is delivering the dividend of democracy to the people of the state so he is not surprised because the government of Governor Dr. Agbu kefas is ready and will continue to bring government close to the people by delivering good Governance.
"This is to tell us that, what this government Is doing is not a secret, it's going worldwide, it's going nationwide and the government of Dr Agbu kefas is still delivering more of democracy dividend to the good people of Taraba State and not only to the benefit of Taraba State, to all Nigerians, because all Nigerians are invited to come to Taraba State to come and partake in the legacies of His Excellency."
The permanent Secretary further asked for prayers for His Excellency and the State, as he assured of more good things to come. He stated that the LSGGA are brand Ambassadors of the State so they should use their connections to draw developmental Projects to the State.
