HON UMAR DEDICATES 2024 LADI KWALI EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP AWARD TO BORNO GOVERNOR

Erstwhile Chairman, Chibok Local Government Council (LGC), Borno State, Hon Umar Ibrahim (Haure), has dedicated the Ladi Kwali Excellent Leadership Award 2024, to God, his family and His Excellency Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State.

The Ladi Kwali Excellent Leadership Award was presented to the erstwhile Chibok LGC boss by Dr. Lami Kayode, NFYWED President, on behalf of the organisation recently at Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Hon. Umar appreciated NFYWED for finding him worthy of the award, while thanking Governor Zulum, for giving him the opportunity to work with him as the Chairman of Chibok LGC and other capacities.

He acknowledged that His Excellency the Governor is working assiduously to tackling the challenges confronting the North Eastern state.

According to Hon Umar, Chibok will continue to enjoy the support of His Excellency Governor Zulum.

He appreciated friends and well wishes that took out time to be part of the presentation to celebrate him.

Dr. Kayode, while presenting the award says it is in recognition of Hon. Umar's excellent performance in leadership specially during his tenure in office as the chairman of Chibok LGC.

According to Dr. Kayode, Hon Umar's excellent leadership qualities are evident in his prompt responses to his people, open door policy in office, reaching out to people to people of diverse backgrounds and leanings.

The NFYWED President explained that the Ladi Kwali Excellent Leadership Award is intended to encourage Hon. Umar, to do more for his people.

Dr. Kayode, therefore, congratulated Hon Umar, wishing him new position in leadership, given his previous antecedents, to reach out to the grassroot and provide dividends of democracy to his people.
